The Basket Ministry
In 2004 we became increasingly aware of numerous people in our local community who were living in poor conditions and struggling to pay bills and feed themselves and their family.
The Basket Ministry was birthed in response to this need.
Church members can donate foodstuffs and household items at any time into a Basket located in the foyer of Harvest Centre.
This is sorted and stored until an individual or family is identified as being in need.
We realize these food parcels will not solve the problems but have found again and again over the years that the practical help brings hope and encouragement because it demonstrates that others care.
Due to the faithfulness of those who donate towards The Basket Ministry there is always a sufficiency to provide.
